July 2026 Update

While the summer so far has brought some incredibly hot weather and smoky skies, we hope that you are staying safe and finding wonderful ways to enjoy the season.  Remember that when the outdoor conditions become uncomfortable, the club is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable and safe environment where you can keep enjoying all your favorite activities. Don't forget to drop in to the free Wednesday games afternoon. Drop-ins played Dominoes, Skip-Bo and a few tried their hand at Cornhole this past Wednesday. Looking for more games to be played in the Wednesdays to come. 

We are pleased to announce that August 13 will be the official celebration of our new ministry designation as a Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC). This exciting milestone is the culmination of many years of work. The celebration will get underway at 2:00 with refreshments, tasty treats and music. Ministry dignitaries will be attending to make the official SALC announcement. To highlight some of our weekly programming, we will feature line dancing and BaGua Zhang demonstrations. If you have ever thought about trying either of these popular classes, this is the perfect chance to see what they are like firsthand. Further, as a result of our new SALC funding, we are now offering both of these instructor-led activities for $5 per session to make them more accessible to even more participants. With door prizes, tasty treats, special demonstrations and lots of fun, we hope you will plan on joining us for this wonderful club celebration! Thank you.
