March 2026 Update
Here are some special upcoming club events, in addition to our many regular club activities.
Join in on the popular meditation learning series facilitated by Glenda van Koot. Registration is now open for a new 5-week meditation circle, Finding Personal Freedom With The Four Agreements, based on the wisdom of don Miguel Ruiz on Thursday. morning from 10:00-11:00 on the following dates March 12, April 2, 9, 16 & 30. The cost is $50 and pre-registration is required. There is a minimum of 10 participants needed.
Thursday, March 26 is CPR Day at the Fenelon Falls Seniors' Club led by St. John Ambulance instructors.The CPR Seminar, from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. is a non-certification information session about adult, child and infant CPR, choking and AED use. This is a seminar therefore participants will not have hands-on practice. Refreshments are included.There is a minimum of 10 participants needed. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for others.
The CPR-C (adult, child, infant) Certification Course, is the second activity from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. As part of this certification course participants will be required to physically perform CPR while kneeling on the floor for a minimum of 2 minutes. Please bring your own refreshments. The cost of this certification course normally is $60 but through our Senior Community Grant, the club is offering it at $20 for members and $40 for others.There is a maximum of 18 spaces for this course, so be sure to register early. Register for either the seminar OR the certification course by Mar 19. Please note that you must register even if you put your name on the lists at the last workshop. Save the following dates: our Annual General Meeting will be held on May 28 at 1:30 and our Seniors' Month Tea will be held on June 18 from 2 - 4. More information will follow. Hope to see you at our activities. In the meantime, stay safe, healthy, active and most of all "THINK SPRING".
