Next Healthy Aging Workshop

We are pleased to share the first of a new series of three Healthy Aging Workshops made possible through grant money the club has received from Community Seniors Grant - Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility. The Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Club is hosting an Active Living Through Volunteerism workshop on Thursday, September 11 from 9:00 to 2:15. This event is a great way to learn about local organizations’ volunteer opportunities and requirements, as well as tips to help you prepare your volunteer profile. Presenters include:

 Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes
 Fenelon Falls Food Bank/Salvation Army Community & Family Services
 Community Care of Kawartha Lakes
 Fenelon Court
Exhibitors from more than 9 organizations will also be available. Yoga movement break, refreshments and catered lunch are included. The workshop will be held at the Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Centre (58 Murray St, Fenelon Falls).
Cost is $5 for FFSC members; $10 for all others.
Pre-registration by Tues. Sept. 9 at noon is required as spaces are limited.
