APRIL UPDATE (2)

A new meditation session, "Wisdom Teaching for Less-Stress Living", is being offered at the club. The first day of the five day session is May 7. It is open to anyone who is interested. Please contact the club to register.

The club would like to thank the Butterfly Boutique for featuring FFSC this month in their promotion to give back to the community. On Thursday, April 30th, 20 percent of all sales from that day will be donated to the club. This support is much appreciated.

A reminder of other important upcoming events: The club's Spring Clean-up Day is taking place May 23 from 9-12. We are still in need of volunteers for the morning or any part of the morning that you would be available. Please contact the club to sign up if you can lend a helping hand.

On Thursday, May 28 from 1:30 - 2:30 the club's Annual General Meeting is being held. All members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the club's many accomplishments, as well as the 2025 Financial Summary, and the planning for the year ahead. There are openings on the Board of Directors for anyone who would be interested in planning the club's future and ensuring that the club provides effective programs and activities for seniors. Please contact the club for more information.

On June 18, we are holding an afternoon tea and silent auction to celebrate Seniors Month from 1:30 - 2:30. The ReUnion choir will entertain at 2:30. Looking forward to seeing you there.

A Salad Supper will be held in July - more information to follow.

Participation is a vital part of healthy aging so please take advantage of all of these special activities, as well as our regular activities, to be active and involved!
